Watch the 360 Aubrey and Mom do. Fun + 2-year old = Danger

Happy Holidays

Happy holidays to everybody! As we get ready to kick the holiday season into high gear, we want to wish everybody safe travels and good times. Hopefully we will get to see everybody in the very near future. We recently had the annual get together with both sets of parents (grandparents). The Steel's and the Wertz's come over for a night of tasty appetizers, seasonal drinks, and good times. Thanks to Bree for preparing all the food and making this night such a wonderful night every year.

Bree also went back to work this past week which means our nanny, Kara, started. Many of you have met her as she has been our babysitter over the past two years. Aubrey adores Kara and we are really looking forward to not having to bundle the kids up every day to bring them to daycare. Aubrey got to go swimming with Auntie Jen this past week (no pictures, thanks Jen), try her first quarter pounder from McDonalds (or, Old McDonalds as she likes to call it), and sledding with Mom and Dad. This was her first trip to an actual sledding hill. She loved every second of it and also got to witness her first crash at the bottom of the hill, quickly learning why we need to watch out for people. Colton did a great job being a bundled up spectator while Aubrey went sledding.

Thanks for visiting again. Happy holidays to everybody

Some short vids of 'Tree Day'

Christmas Tree Adventure

Happy Holidays to everybody! Saturday the 6th was Christmas tree day in the Steel household. We started our 45-minute journey up to Clear Lake at 10:00am with Uncle Chris, Aunt Joely, cousin Raelyn, and Grandma and Grandpa Wertz. As you can see, we found yet another fantastic tree this year....13'2'' (photo proof) of Christmas spirit will be in our living room for the next four weeks! Aubrey had a ton of fun playing with her cousin Raelyn and running around in the snow. Once the tree was cut down Aubrey got to see Santa Claus arrive in a helicopter. Once we got home and got the tree in the house, Dan had to do his annual death defying stunt of putting the star on top of the tree. We are looking forward to seeing you all in the coming weeks!

Happy Thanksgiving!

Happy Thanksgiving! Aubrey and Colton got to see many of their relatives over the holiday weekend. Aubrey is finishing her last week of school at the daycare center before our nanny comes on board. Colton is growing like a weed. He had his two month checkup and he is already 15 lbs. 2 oz....big boy! His acid reflux has drastically improved. The prescription he has been on for over a month seems to be working. We are looking forward to seeing everybody over Christmas! Happy Holidays!
